Ensign 16th Bengal Native Infantry 10 Feb 1846, Lieutenant 6 Jan 1850. Faced General Court Martial at Dinapore 25 Oct 18 47 for "unbecoming conduct", sentenced to "severe reprimand". Killed in the massacre at Cawnpore 27 June 1857. Married in Benares 31 Oct 1850 Memorial in All Saints Church Cawnpore. |
